Thank you SO much, Katherine! Nests provide an endless fascination...nearly as much as my love of birds! Their intricate little nests are utterly amazing! I think this is #18 or 19, although I have plans for some really amazing compositions in the future as soon as I get caught up on commissions! :o) Your comments are much appreciated! Jeanne

Such a thing of beauty! You have painted this delicate nest exquisitely. I have been trying to get some photos of a mourning dove who has nested in my pine tree...don't want to disturb her, but I did get a quick peek at some lovely pale blue eggs in there yesterday!

Thank you SO much, Claire! How exciting to get a peek of a Mourning Dove's nest! They usually have the skimpiest little collection of twigs with barely any structure at all. I'd love to see your photos sometime! Jeanne

I love nests and this painting you have created is stunning and so sweet! Your are amazingly talented! I cannot believe you are self taught. I will show your paintings to my daughter. She wants to be an artist too.
I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and becoming a follower! Please feel free to leave me a comment or two! I would love to hear from you.

Thank you SO much, Jamilyn! I truly appreciate your lovely comments! Nests have always provided a fascination for me as for most of us, and I'm sure your daughter will be inspired as well. Perhaps she'll try painting a nest, too! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'll head over to your blog again! Jeanne
