Just an unrelated yet humorous note. Tonight is the eve of my birthday . . . and as my husband's birthday is in two weeks, we were discussing numbers. When I mentioned that he would be 55 he was shocked and announced that he was only 53 . . . I retorted with a comment about it being impossible as I was 53 . . . as of tomorrow that is. I'd only realized two days ago that I'd totally missed 52 since I was thinking all along for most of the year that I was already 53. Therefore, I was relishing the last few hours of being 52 . . . well, so I thought! A little too tired after much Christmas champagne punch yesterday to do the basic math, my parents became involved and the question of their anniversary even came up! Long story short . . . I'm only 51 today (which sounds so young now after thinking all year I was 53) and tomorrow 52!!!! How can anyone make such an error!?!? Have I been just a little too busy these past few years?? Now where's that birthday cake painting I started on my big 5-0 . . . maybe I'll pull that out again for completion! Heck, I can even be 50 again, right? Why not -- you know, to make up for losing two years this year?? Seems the 50's have been off to quite a rousing good start!!! :o)
