Thank you SO much, Marie! What a wonderful observation. For years I'd noticed a lovely tension when cropping the compositions of my larger more elaborate paintings and this Little Gem was actually inspired by such a process. The hollyhocks are a perennial favorite, no pun intended! Jeanne
