NEW DIRECTIONS FOR 2010

Refining FOCUS
Enhancing TECHNIQUE
Deliberating PURPOSE

As I continue to complete many paintings begun in 2009 which will be offered in the first quarter 2010, you will also begin to see the emergence of new characteristics in my work. Look for a more refined focus which will include simplified, more emphatic still life compositions as well as a more expansive portfolio of floral botanical and garden paintings. All will reveal a new light with specific focus on the following series:

* nothin’ but pink series floral botanicals
* silver series still lifes of antique sterling silver
* treading softly series garden images

You sound like an artist who knows where she is going! You go, Girl! I sure enjoy your work.

Oh thank you SO much, Diana! The new year is always softly refreshing while the landscape is quiet and dusted in white as if a purifying experience prior to the rebirth of Spring. Hence my thinking of new directions and goals. My ambitions are not small, but I do like to aim high in case I fall short of my objectives . . . then I've still accomplished a good deal in the end. :o) Wishing you success and happy painting! Jeanne
