Thank you SO much, Patricia! In the past I'd only painted classical fruit and flowers, but since selling online for three years now, I've been inspired to introduce a new flair to my work by delving into some other subjects which I've found endlessly entertaining to paint! It's been a delightful challenge to incorporate what I consider to be classical pieces such as these Victorian spoons, into a contemporary format. Jeanne

Thank you SO much, Gary! This clutch of mellow silver spoons looked so irresistible when I placed them down that I just had to grab a photo of them for this painting. You'll see the painting over my desk as well as my camera and me in the reflections! Thank you, too, for your lovely comments about my Robin's nest in the previous post. Nests almost seem magical with their intricately woven details. Such a joy to paint! Jeanne
