A lovely soft painting Jeanne and I love the cherries in the Spode bowl. The colours are fantastic. On another note, I was interested in your comment about your cat and the lovely painting. My daughter has just got a job with the RSPCA (in the UK) - she is nearly at the end of a 2 year course in animal care.

Thank you so much, Sheila! While I tend to want to produce the more powerful, cropped compositions, lots of people consider me a flower painter so I try to keep creating those, too while I develop in my other direction. Yes, my little kitty (photo this past summer) had a terrible time in the end, mostly because of vets misguiding me until I finally found a homeopathic/holistic vet but by then her condition was so deteriorated nothing helped. Sadly, we buried her on Christmas day. I've since vowed to be more active with animal rights and I"m trying to really become a vegetarian. The more I learn about what happens to the animals for food or in medical laboratories, etc. the more I want to stop it! Your daughter is doing a wonderful thing, indeed!!! Fantastic! We need more people like her! Thank you again, Jeanne
