This lovely painting depicts one of my favorite garden flowers, old fashioned Hollyhocks with their spectacular single blossoms.  Of course I love the double blossoms as well, but there's something nostalgic about this old fashioned variety.  This lovely sage green or celadon vase really sets off these shades of soft pink.
I'll post this to my "nothin' but pink" blog as well.

    Thank you SO much, Katherine! I love pink, too, especially in flowers! There's something so uplifting and "happy" about pink, especially when offset by a soft celadon vase. Thank you for your lovely comments. Jeanne
