Thank you SO much, Susan for your lovely compliments! I assume you're referring to Georgia O'Keefe whose zoom in images of flowers took on a graphic abstraction in the form of large, flat bands of color. I recall pouring over books of her work when I was quite young. While my Amaryllis exhibits considerable texture in the petals, i.e., a gentle puckering between the fine veins, I did attempt to achieve that magical fascination one experiences when peering into the heart of a flower.
