You've done a great job on this one. The palette of colours and the values contribute to a well balanced and united painting. I like to see pears on still lifes. I seldom see pears with this kind of colour - I also like to see red ones - here in Portugal. But then again I bet that ours taste better :-)
Thank you Jose, for your wonderful comments! I've seen pears in many varieties, colors and forms which makes them quite enjoyable to paint. I must admit, however, my husband eats all my subjects since I don't actually care for their flavor. Perhaps if I had them baked and topped with chocolate...now there's another painting subject!
