A classical style still life with an fresh palette as compared to many of my small studies which more closely emulate the Dutch masters. The pastel rose bouquet and celadon jar provide a refreshing atmosphere enhanced by dramatic shadows.
Very nice! Wonderful painting and nice color palette as well. I'm interested in painting more in the lower chroma range, so these are a pleasure to see.
