A simply wonderful thing happens to sterling silver when it’s aged over 100 years . . . it acquires the most mellow patina as exhibited here in this clutch of antique spoons.

This particular painting combines the two with a traditional subject cropped into a more abstract format which I found particularly enjoyable.
